The Schwinn 431 Elliptical Trainer is a very good selling elliptical trainer at Amazon.com with almost 200 reviews. 165 customers rated it either 4 or 5 stars with many favorable comments about this product. On the other hand we had 18 customers who didn’t fare that well. Some comments included Nautilus service was bad but Amazon.com was pretty good, some had damage upon delivery, a few missing parts and one had problems with the bolts on the foot pedal holding up.

Also worth mentioning was a suggestion by a few customers to make sure you check any electronics before assembling in case they do not work. Some problems were taken care of quickly, some took a little more time while others were not satisfied and returned their units.

We can understand people being upset with a bad experience, however saying that 18 out of almost 200 had a few problems seems like a small number to us. Several people had problems but were very satisfied with their machine when it was finally fixed.

Taking all that into consideration we think the Schwinn 431 Elliptical Trainer has satisfied many people in the past and we think they will continue to do so. Have fun with whatever you buy and remember to stay fit.
